Hypothesis: text messaging is a different language in comparison to formal writing
How To Find Out: Write a paragraph on a certain thing then type the same thing in text except add all the features used in modern texting. Finally compare both the written paragraph and the text paragraph. Observe how text messaging differs compared to formal writing.

Paragraph: In the long, formal text conversation above, a variety of language features were used. The text was so formal in fact, there isn’t very much slang, verbal fillers, etc: But a fair amount of paralinguistic features were used. In the text conversation many emojis were used; They’re used to display the current emotion the individual is feeling.
On top of paralinguistic features, a lot of punctuation was used, it is also known as formal English. This is done to ultimately make reading easier for the person reading it, even if it takes more time for the typer to write it.

In the voice transcript, a number of literacy features were used. We are only going to be studying one literacy feature in particular: “But I applied at New World so hopefully I get in” “And then we can be butcher brothers” This is what is known as a “Coordinating Conjunction” this is when two words of similar rank are put next to each other; Not only that, but it also applies for putting a conjunction at the very start of a sentence when writing. For example “And then”. In the dialogue above voice 2 attempts to finish of the dialogue of voice 1. This shows that voice 2 agrees to what voice 1 is saying.

Looks like gaming’s toxic bullying culture has once again reared its ugly head: A group of trolls in the gamer community has sadly taken it upon themselves to relentlessly harass an utterly defenseless Chinese leader, all for the crime of speaking his mind. Not a good look, gamers.
This kind of hateful cyberbullying is exactly what gives our community a bad name.
The poor 66-year-old man, who goes by the name General Secretary Xi Jinping, has clearly done nothing remotely deserving of the outpouring of hate on Twitch, Facebook and social media. He’s only a simple civil servant doing his best to maintain a shaky authoritarian state. Yet, for some reason, esports champions and streamers are suddenly filling the web with hateful screeds calling him a “dictator” and a “tyrannical asshole,” mocking his weight, and posting humiliating photoshops of him as Winnie the Pooh.
Without a doubt, seeing himself and his colleagues in the Politburo Standing Committee attacked thousands of times a day on Twitter is taking a real psychological toll on Xi Jinping. He’s already been forced to block over a billion users from using the internet just to tamp down on this unwarranted criticism of him and his government. This isn’t even beginning to mention the way his frustrations with these trolls made him arrest over a million ethnic minorities in the Xinjiang territory.
Clearly, the people lobbing these insults need to remember that there is a real Chinese Communist leader on the other end of their hurtful remarks about his “dumb moony face” and “violent crackdowns on freedom.” And, yes, it has been heartening to see allies like Blizzard reaching out to help Jinping by banning trolls like Blitzchung from Hearthstone. Sadly, though, it seems that until everyone stands up against this online epidemic of harassment, Xi Jinping will never be able to enjoy his repressive regime in peace.

Here and now, we resolve ourselves to condemn cyberbullying in all its forms, whether it’s against the General Secretary of the Communist Party or the brave police officers who are simply trying to maintain law and order in Hong Kong. Only then, when the gaming world joins us to end the horrible scourge of trolling in our community—once and for all—can we stop this horrifying cycle of abuse towards unsuspecting world leaders.

Romeo and Juliet come from two different families. These families are also arch rivals. Juliets mum and dad wanted her to marry a man called Paris. Romeo was in love with a woman called Rosaline, that all changed when he saw Juliet. It was love at first sight and before they even exchanged 100 words they were prepared to have a wedding.
Once they had their wedding both Capulet and Lady Capulet were soon to find out. Tybalt got into a battle with Mercutio, Tybalt came out victorious. Romeo had to avenge his friend so he battled against Tybalt until he died. Romeo was banished from Verona because of it.
Romeo and Juliet’s love still strong, they had to find a way to still be together even if it means giving up other things. Capulet and Lady Capulet were preparing for Juliet’s wedding. Juliet was doing everything in trying to stop the wedding.
Juliet goes to Friar Lawrence to get a plan allowing her to not marry Paris. Their plan was to make Juliet drink a mysterious potion that increases her sleep time making her look dead, then Romeo was meant to go and save her. Friar told his brother to get the letter about the plan to Romeo, that is when the plan went overboard.
Romeo did not get the letter but gets a different letter saying Juliet is dead. He rushes to her tomb and drinks a potion of poison, killing him. Juliet then wakes up to see his dead corpse in front of her, she then kills herself too.Both families find out about this incident and pledge to end all of their grudges between each another.
